The horizontal sliding door Horizon is a valid alternative when it is not possible to install the traditional vertical sliding sectional door due to the presence of obstacles in the ceiling (mezzanines, beams, etc.) or when the height of the garage is reduced.

The sliding direction of the door is defined by the customer; even inclined internal walls do not constitute an impediment to installing a Horizon door as it is possible to vary the angle of rotation to ensure that the door always runs parallel to the masonry.

Nothing has been overlooked in the Horizon door: refined elegance of the external details and accuracy of the internal components, all in white to match the panels.

The Horizon’s design and construction simplicity also corresponds to ease of assembly and less maintenance as there are no particular components such as, for example, the balancing spring group.

These peculiarities make Horizon an easy-to-use door; even children can easily push this door aside with a simple hand movement.

The Horizon door can be automated with drive motors. An anti-intrusion bracket kit is available on request to prevent the panels from unhinging.

The opening can be partial to allow pedestrian passage only.

The door moves on cushioned steel trolleys mounted on ball bearings that slide on the galvanized steel track fixed to the floor (for correct operation of the Horizon door it is essential that the floor is perfectly level along the entire sliding section).

Con Horizon infatti l’altezza totale si riduce di appena 8 cm, soluzione unica che non ha rivali con le altre tipologie di chiusure (serrande o basculanti).

Anche in larghezza gli ingombri necessari per far ruotare il portone sono ridotti grazie al raggio molto stretto; difatti solo sul lato della rotazione è indispensabile una mazzetta di 15 cm. che, nel caso non fosse disponibile, può essere realizzata con un montante di acciaio rivestito con lamiera dello stesso colore del portone.

Se la larghezza dell’apertura è eccessiva il portone può essere realizzato a due ante uguali o asimmetriche, a seconda degli spazi interni disponibili.
